This project is executed between March 6, 2003 ro December 31, 2003. Main tasks are:  Close contact with EPA to exeute the calibration task;  Detailed recording of instrument operation output to set up reliable calibrartion procedure;  Collect international information;  Maintenance of UVI forecasting system;  Analysis of forecasting results. In all, following results are obtained:  Calibate of all on-site UVI instrument to maintain a third-level working standard;  Set up a reliable calibration system and QA/QC operational procedure;  Set up a web page to check the UVI monitoring and forcasting;  Maintain the reliability of UVI forecasting syste;  Up-date regularly the forecasting parameters based on observational data.
